Epipremnum aureum "Half Moon" Pothos
Approx $55.61 USD
The Epipremnum aureum "Snow Queen" is an exceptionally white variegated version of your traditional marble queen pothos with heart-shaped leaves. Highly sought after, they are hard to find in New Zealand. It's a tropical aroid vine in the family Araceae and native to French Polynesia. These are unusual Snow Queens with half green leaves. Because plants need chlorophyll to survive, variegated plants with more green tend to be stronger and healthier. These guys grow much faster than their whiter relations.
Like other closely-related aroids, this plant's leaves will change in shape with age (similar to a Monstera). The leaves can be found in the wild sprawled out along the ground and climbing up trees. Pothos have the ability to spontaneously generate variegation, which has led to several cultivars of variegation and color – marble, classic jade, neon and your snow queens.
PLANT CARE
• Light: Low to bright, indirect light
• Water: Water when the top few centimeters of soil dries out
• Considerations: Trim leggy vines to promote a bushier growth habit - the tip cuttings can be easily propagated!
It loves humidity.
